The Student Council is the heart of VKH Brno. It consists of a group of active students who have voluntarily taken on the leadership of the association. They come up with the program, take care of the student center’s operations, and do everything they can to make VKH a place where people feel comfortable.
The council is not some distant authority; it is made up of ordinary students from various fields and years who want to get more involved in their free time and move VKH forward. They do this voluntarily and without remuneration, simply because they care about the community. Every year, they are elected by the members of VKH themselves, so you could end up on the council one day!
The student chaplain, currently Jan Regner SJ, also participates in the running of VKH together with the council. Together with the control commission and a group of helpers, they form a team that takes care of the life of the entire community.
