We are an open community of several hundred young Catholics studying in Brno. Our main weekly meeting is the Monday student mass at 7 p.m. at the Jesuit church. In addition to mass, we also meet for a wide range of spiritual, social, and cultural activities organized by volunteers from among our ranks. Our home is the student center (SCčko) at Kozí 8.

The activities of VKH are overseen by a student council composed of volunteers appointed for one academic year at a time. Applications to join the council for the following year are accepted in the spring and are formally confirmed by elections held in May after one of the Monday student masses. The new council then meets for an election weekend, elects its officers (chair, vice-chair, treasurer), and divides up the departments. In addition to the council members, however, there are a number of volunteers working with the VKH.
